Dear Friends Electric Elephant
Firstly we would like to thank you all for your overwhelming vote of support and wishes over the last week.
It seems that every cloud does infact have a silver lining and as sorry as we are to announce that the site at Petrcane can no longer be used for the Electric Elephant, we are even more excited as we are very close to securing a stunning new location local to Zadar/Split which we think surpasses even the location of Petrcane, keeping all the usual Electric Elephant magic on the sun sparkled adriatic coast.
Adventures in the Adriatic land of music…
So please bear with us over the next week or so as we finalise the details. Please be assured we’re doing this with your best interests at heart and will give you more information as soon it becomes available.

Electric Elephant 2012 Announcement
Hello All,
The Garden in Petrcane have just issued a statement, which you can read in full below. They are currently facing problems securing the operations license for the site in Petrcane, due to issues with Hotel Pinija, though negotiations are continuing and we all hope that Electric Elephant will take place as usual in Petrcane in 2012.
We are working closely with The Garden team and all the other promoters on the site and are visiting Petrcane this week for further discussions. We all hope that 2012 will be the same magical experience in Petrcane as usual. Please bear with us over the next week as we try to resolve these issues. If you have any questions then please contact us direct at info@electricelephant.co.uk
Please note that as our team will be out of the office and in Croatia this week we may not be able to answer your email straight away so there may be a longer response time than usual.

The Garden Statement :
“After 6 great years in Petrcane, we have unexpectedly come up against problems with Hotel Pinija, whose permission we need to secure our annual operating licence for the festivals. Negotiations with the hotel are still ongoing & we truly hope we can solve all issues with them. Over the past few days we have been looking at numerous stunning locations local to Zadar/Split and have earmarked a few that fit the Garden bill, should a move be necessary.
If we do find we have to move to a new location what will certainly never change is the ethos of our Garden, the week long program, the beauty of the coastline, the sunshine & good times, and of course most importantly – the people.
Please bear with us until next week when the picture will be a lot clearer and we will issue a further statement and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us at Garden HQ.

As Autumn really begins to take a stronghold and the central heating systems kick into overdrive, we will be bringing a bit of the Croatian sunshine to Electrik Bar in Chorlton, Manchester, as we host the Electric Elephant Festival 2011 reunion party.
